The National Forum For Environmental And Toxic Tort Issues (FETTI), Inc., referred to herein as FETTI respects the privacy of its website visitors. This Privacy Policy describes the information FETTI collects from you and how it uses that information when you use the https://fetti.org/ Web Site or when you sign up to receive FETTI’s updates through the https://fetti.org/ Web Site.  By accessing or using the https://fetti.org/ Web Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.  

Information You Voluntarily Provide FETTI

You may use the https://fetti.org/ Web Site without providing FETTI with any personally identifiable information about you. FETTI only collects personally identifiable information that you voluntarily provide, such as when you sign up for FETTI updates through the https://fetti.org/ Web Site or make payment through the https://fetti.org/ Web Site.  Examples of such personally identifiable information that you provide to us may include, among other information, your name, physical address, email address, phone number, company, position, professional address, credit card number, credit card security number and website user name and password.

Other Information FETTI Collects

What You Will Receive From FETTI When You Sign Up for FETTI Updates on the FETTI Website

When you sign up to receive FETTI updates, you will receive emails from us relating to newsletters, marketing or promotional matters and upcoming FETTI events.  If you register for an FETTI event, you will receive e-mails from us relating to the event, including emails confirming your registration and reminding you of the event as the date of the event approaches.  Please see the following section of this Privacy Policy for information on how to unsubscribe from or opt out of FETTI updates.

Updating Your Information; Opting Out

Visitors who would like to correct, update or delete any information, including personally identifiable information, may contact FETTI with a request to do so at info@fetti.org. In addition, any users of the https://fetti.org/ Web Site who have signed up for FETTI updates and wish to unsubscribe to FETTI’s marketing and informational communications can do so by using the unsubscribe option in an email communication or by sending an email to info@fetti.org.  FETTI will respond to any request to update or modify any information, or to opt out of or unsubscribe from any communications, within a reasonable period of time. If you request the deletion or modification of your personal information maintained by FETTI, such information may be retained for a period of time in FETTI’s backup systems as a precaution against system failures. Some information may be retained for longer periods as required by law, contract or auditing requirements.

Security

If you provide FETTI with your email address in order to receive FETTI updates, your email address will be stored on a third party server.  FETTI follows generally accepted industry standards to protect your personally identifiable information, both during transmission and once FETTI receives it, including the use of firewalls and other Internet security measures.  However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and FETTI cannot guarantee its absolute security.  Accordingly, FETTI expressly disclaims any such obligation.

FETTI does not store on its servers, or keep any in-office record of, any credit card information you provide FETTI through the https://fetti.org/ Web Site.  FETTI utilizes a third party service for credit card payment processing and your credit card information is stored on the third party service’s servers.   FETTI’s credit card processor follows generally accepted industry standards to protect your credit card information, both during transmission and once the processor receives it.  However, no method of security is absolute and FETTI cannot guarantee the absolute security of your credit card information.  Accordingly, FETTI expressly disclaims any such obligation.

Updates to This Privacy Policy

FETTI reserves the right to change, alter or modify this Privacy Policy for any reason at any time without notice to you. When FETTI does so, all changes, alterations or modifications to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the https://fetti.org/ Web Site and will be effective immediately. If you are a regular visitor to this site, FETTI recommends that you check this Privacy Policy on a regular basis.

FETTI Policy for Users of the FETTI Website Under Age 18

The https://fetti.org/ Web Site is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age.
